SACHET
The term "SACHET" under NDMA (National Disaster Management Authority) refers to a mobile application initiative for public awareness and early warning.
The SACHET app is developed by NDMA to provide citizens with:
- Real-time alerts and early warnings for disasters (floods, cyclones, earthquakes, etc.)
- Preparedness tips for various hazards
- Dos and Don’ts during disasters
- Information on emergency contacts
- Geo-tagged alerts specific to user location
